JLL (formerly Jones Lang Lasalle) purchased W.A.Ellis on 1 October 2014 and the senior management team  from the smaller organisation was charged with growth and development of JLL Residential Agency across the UK .  Having played a lead role in the merger, due diligence and transition process I spent the next 18 months with the JLL business as Residential Marketing Director.

My key focus was the assimilation of the new development scheme sales offices with the wider estate agency across London and the North;  supporting a sales process in the face of substantial market challenge and established competition;  and ensuring the strength of W.A.Ellis lettings was successfully realised as a JLL asset within the industry.

I experienced deep cultural shifts in brand transition; and the significant impact of a growing residential property business within a traditionally commercial property environment.  I also recognised the delicate skill-sets required to navigate between a US based head office and individual agency offices on the ‘frontline’ in the UK .
